These are only some tips that I can share based on my personal experience. You know, every month I create several new Adsense account just for a backup. Some of them are already banned and some are still alive. But the funny thing, it’s been 3 months since the last account got banned (usually at least 1 account get banned each month). It was in August 2011, after then I already created 9 new Adsense accounts to accompany my 2 main Adsense accounts. So just in case those 2 main account are banned, at least I have 9 other accounts as backups.

So although there many publishers getting their account banned, all my accounts are still safe. Here’s some tips on how to do it :

1. Make sure your sites have a great site navigation.
Beside standard links such as category link or breadcrumbs, this also including Sitemap page, Privacy Policy page, DMCA page, TOS page and Report Content page.

2. Never use Search Terms Tagging WP Plugin
Months ago I was like most other bloggers that think STT2 plugin is an awesome plugin. But when one of my site that I proposed for a new Adsense account was rejected by Google because of that plugin, I’ve never use that plugin again in my sites. Sure, STT2 is still an awesome plugin, but hey if you can’t get traffics to your blogs without that plugin, you’d better retire from blogging.

3. Never place Adsense ads on autoblogs
It’s against their TOS. Placing Adsense ads on autoblogs is as dangerous as placing Adsense ads in a porn site. You’d also want to be caution on your wallpaper sites. I have about 15 wallpaper sites and have reduce the number of those sites that using Adsense into only 6 sites.

4. Move your Adsense ads to below the fold
Placing too many Adsense ads on the above the fold will make your site looks like a MFA. In future, that will also can hurt your site ranking.

5. Give or place a tool that useful for your site’s visitor
For example your site is about weight loss, give a tool such as a Weight Loss Calculator in the sidebar. If you site topic is about Real Estate, put some Real Estate Quiz or Loan Calculator. This will make your site more interesting/valuable to visitors (and Google) and reduce the bounce rate.

6. Use different themes on each sites
If you have to use the same theme in several sites, make sure you differentiate the looks or the layout. I have more than 100 sites, 70% of them are Adsense sites and none of them have the same layout/designs. Footprints is not just about backlink or WHOIS data, it’s also about theme structure.

7. Do not use “admin” as the blog Author
Use adult-professor-like name as the Author. Or use girl names, such as Lisa, Diana, Victoria, etc. It may sounds silly but it’s worth it. Using girls (should be ladies name, not chicks name like lisacute) name and make your site looks like having several authors can make your site (looks) more trust-able. So your contact email should also use that name, example diana@yourdomain.com. You could also make a fake short biography on the About page, example “I am an Architecture professor with PhD degree teaching Architecture class in Leicester University since 1986, etc..”

Those above are seven tips to avoid your Google Adsense account from getting banned. Of course they are only an additional tips besides the standard tips like provide high quality content, placing ads only in supported languange, doing Google Webmasters Guideline, etc. You can find out more about this on Google Adsense Help page, Adsense blog and other reputable resources.
